Tool theft is on the rise with more than a third (36%) of van drivers falling victim to theft last year. This is a huge 33% increase since only 2020.
Almost 50% of van drivers confess to keeping more than £2,000 worth of tools and equipment in their vans overnight. This means that UK tradespeople are risking up to £5 billion in lost equipment.
As a tradesperson, it is of course very important to keep all tools as safe as possible. No equipment means no work, making it a main priority to find somewhere secure to store these items. It's never convenient to have to lug all of your tools into your home, as this then creates clutter and further issues down the line.
Here aT Ulok Self Storage, we encourage using one of our trustworthy, secure and accessible storage units for all tradesperson use. We not only have a variety of internal storage units, we also have 24 Hour Access External Units with 24 Hour CCTV Surveillance, remote coded entry, and a high-end double locking system on the units themselves.
With a variety of sizes available, we have a wide range of options depending on what trade it is you're in. We already have a huge success rate of current and previous customers who have used our units for this exact purpose.
